You will develop accurate, first-principles estimates for the electrical components of complex infrastructure projects delivered through an integrated civil, structural and electrical construction model.
Working with project managers, engineers, procurement specialists, subcontractors and suppliers, you will help BMD develop competitive, commercially robust bids that respond to client requirements and project risks.This is an prospect to influence our approach to electrical estimating, strengthen our integrated bid capability and contribute to strategic project pursuits across emerging and established infrastructure markets.Key Responsibilitiesdevelop accurate and detailed first-principles estimates for electrical infrastructure, including labour, materials, equipment, subcontractor costs and overheadsreview designs, drawings, schematics, specifications and tender documentation to identify electrical scope, interfaces, risks and opportunitiesprepare material take-offs, scopes of work, supplier enquiries and subcontractor pricing packagescollaborate with civil, structural, engineering, delivery and procurement teams to produce coordinated and competitive tendersassess the interfaces between electrical works and associated civil and structural construction activitiesobtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations,
