Level 2 remote hospital under the Rural and Remote Clinical Services Capability Framework. The facility provides 24-hour acute inpatient and accident and emergency care. Culturally appropriate care is provided by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers, nursing, medical, administration and operational staff.
1 FTE x SMO (single Dr Site) Rostered hours: ****am to ****pm Monday to Sunday On call: ****pm to ****am Monday to Sunday Remote after hours on call support is provided by My Emergency Doctor from 10:00 pm to 08:00 am. On site Dr will be called as required.

Urgent locum coverage required at a remote Northern Queensland Hospital for a Senior Medical Officer from 31/08/2026 to 14/09/2026.

Roster: 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Sunday, with on-call from 18:00 to 08:00. Remote after-hours support provided from 22:00 to 08:00. 1 x paid travel day included. Two doctors onsite during this period.
