Our Occupational Hygiene and Hazardous Materials (OHHM) team has an chance for a Hygiene Technician to join our Perth Office, on a full-time basis.
In this role, you will work alongside industry leaders, within both the local team and throughout wider Australia.
We are a high-performing, friendly and collaborative group, looking to connect with candidates with some experience and an interest to progress and benefit from our expertise and support with ongoing learning and development.ResponsibilitiesMonitor occupational health exposure for hazards including dust, diesel particulate matter, welding fumes, noise, asbestos fibres and chemicalsDevelop reliable and detailed sampling plansConducting field task observations, reviewing sample data and inputting into company databaseProviding accurate and reliable data for technical reports and proposals, contributing to SLR projectsRespirator and hearing protection fit testingTravel to regional and remote sites as required to conduct fieldwork.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience within OHS/Hazmat, writing reports, analysing dataCapable to travel regularly and flexibility in working arrangementsExcellent verbal and written communication,
communicating to both technical and non-technical personnelAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamExperience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and WordA valid driver's licence (a C-class Manual Licence is advantageous)Full and unrestricted working rights in AustraliaDesirableExposure within the resource industry or working on a mine siteExposure to Mine Air Quality training or Noise Dosimetry trainingRelevant Qualifications such as in Occupational Hygiene, Chemistry, Science, Nursing/Medical or Environmental disciplinesOur BenefitsWe are proud of our unique culture where we work together to collaborate on projects to get the best possible outcome for our clients.
