The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining the productivity of the afternoon shift and ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and on time.About the RoleReporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating the slitting line to process steel coils into the required widths and lengths, while maintaining high standards of production, quality, housekeeping and safety.Your responsibilities will includeSafely and efficiently operate the slitting line to process steel coils to required specificationsAccurately identify and process customer orders in accordance with production requirementsRead and follow production instructions, specifications and job requirementsAccurately measure material to ensure finished products meet required widths, lengths and specificationsMeet daily production targets while maintaining a strong focus on quality and safetyMinimise material waste and maximise production efficiencyEnsure finished material is correctly prepared for the next stage of production or dispatchMaintain a clean, organised and safe work area in accordance with workplace safety requirementsAbout YouTo be successful in this role,
