Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining plant reliability, supporting production performance and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently across our 24/7 manufacturing facility.Working a Monday to Friday day shift roster (5:00am or 6:00am start available), you will be responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance activities across a range of production equipment.Your key responsibilities will include:Performing preventative maintenance,
inspections and planned repairsTroubleshooting mechanical faults and equipment breakdownsSupporting corrective maintenance activities to minimise downtimeMaintaining and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systemsFabricating and modifying plant equipment as requiredWelding and mechanical fitting work across production assetsInstalling and replacing bearings and other mechanical componentsContributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the siteEnsuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with site proceduresAbout YouYou are a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter with strong fault-finding skills and experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, mining, machinery, automotive or other heavy industry environment.To be successful, you will bring:Experience in a Maintenance Fitter or similar roleStrong troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilityExperience with hydraulics and pneumaticsWelding experience (TIG and MIG)Fabrication skills and experience using workshop machinery such as lathes, drills and millsStrong commitment to workplace safetyExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work effectively within a team environmentManufacturing or continuous process industry experienceConfined Space certificationWorking at Heights certificationFirst Aid certificationCandidates who do not currently hold some of the high-risk licences are encouraged to apply, as training may be provided for the right person.What we offerWe strive to support your qualified and personal growth.
