Posted Tuesday 25 August **** at 2:00 pmInsurance Financial Adviser - Permanent full time positionAbout the roleWe're looking for an experienced Insurance Financial Adviser to join Avant Life's Financial Planning team in Sydney.You'll provide specialised personal financial advice to Avant members, medical professionals and their families, with a focus on life insurance and personal risk protection, both inside and outside superannuation.You'll build trusted client relationships and provide tailored, compliant advice that helps medical professionals protect themselves, their families and their businesses.What you'll be doingProviding personal advice across Life, TPD, Trauma and Income Protection insuranceAdvising on insurance strategies including key person, business overheads and buy/sell arrangementsBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with Avant members and medical professionalsWorking closely with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless client experienceConducting research and preparing high-quality, compliant adviceMaintaining strong compliance and regulatory standardsUsing XPLAN for advice and workflow management and Commpay for premiumsWorking with dedicated advice support officers so you can focus on client relationships and financial adviceAbout youYou'll be an ethical and experienced financial adviser with a strong track record in personal life insurance advice and excellent interpersonal skills.You'll bring:An approved Bachelor's degree (AQF7) or above, or an alternative pathway recognised under current legislationCurrent or eligible ASIC registration as a Relevant Provider, including meeting Fit and Proper requirementsDemonstrated experience providing personal advice on retail life insurance productsDeep knowledge of the Australian life insurance sector, including Life, TPD, Trauma, Income Protection and superannuationExperience using life insurance strategies within Business structuresDemonstrated experience using XPLAN, including workflow management, and Commpay.Equal Opportunity EmployerAvant supports doctors so they can serve Australia's diverse communities.
