The VACCA team is committed to the organisation's visions and values, passionately providing support, service and advocacy for our children and other vulnerable members of the community.Our strength lies with our people.About the roleThis position will provide support to the Team Leader; support new staff and current staff to ensure they are able manage their day-to-day case management tasks.
You will also assist in the preparation of audits and support the OOHC leadership teamAbout YouDemonstrated commitment and understanding for the values that underpin VACCA' vision and purposeDemonstrated experience in working and engaging with Aboriginal families and childrenAbility to advocate for Aboriginal children and communicate in a clear, culturally appropriate and respectful way with a range of stakeholders including staff and external parties.Ability to identify the training and support needs of carers, particularly non-Aboriginal carers in terms of their cultural competence and connection to the Aboriginal community.Demonstrated case management skills.Professional conceptual and writing skills, with the ability to write reports, including Incident Reports, Quarterly Reports and Court Reports.DesirableCertificate, Diploma or Degree qualification in Community Services, Youth Case Management and/or Social WorkerMinimum 4 years' experience in child,
