By taking pride in your workspace, maintaining high standards, and bringing your culinary expertise to our menu, you'll play a key role in creating lasting memories for our guests.Part-time position | Guaranteed hours will be an average of 24 hours per week.Your day to dayOversee daily operations by leading the teamUpskill and train colleaguesPrepare, cook and serve food to the highest standards for the kitchen and banquetingMonitor routine workplace operationsAssist in breaking down and setting up various kitchen stationsStore stock in compliance with set food safety standardsMonitor, control and order new stockAdhere to all regulations in respect of Health and safety, hygiene, guest safety, fire regulations, emergency procedures, etcAssist with other general duties of cleaning and dishesWhat we need from youQualifications in Commercial Cookery/Culinary Arts from a registered training providerMust hold a Food Safety Certificate or willing to undergo trainingThe flexibility to work across a rotating roster including mornings, nights, weekends and public holidaysLeadership experience in kitchen operations and the ability to perform all sections competentlyIt's a physical role and you'll be on your feet most of the day, so attention to safe manual handling is a must; including occasional lifting/push/pull of heavy items and you may need to bend and kneel to complete some activitiesGood reading,
