You will manage a national team which includes Facilities Coordinators and Workplace Ambassadors.
You will drive operational excellence across managed properties, lead vendor partnerships, manage site budgets, and create workplace environments that enhance productivity and occupant satisfaction.
This role requires a strategic leader who can balance client relationship management with hands-on operational execution, demonstrating strong business acumen alongside practical facilities expertise.
You will be the primary operational lead ensuring safe, efficient, well-maintained environments while implementing continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable value to our client.Duties & responsibilitiesBuild and maintain strategic client relationships with stakeholders through proactive communication, regular business reviews, and consultative problem-solving while serving as primary escalation point for service issuesManage site operating budgets, financial processes (PO management, invoice approval, cost tracking), forecasting,
and capital planning to meet financial targets and identify cost optimization opportunitiesLead day-to-day facilities operations including vendor management, preventive/reactive maintenance programs, procurement processes, and workplace services (moves/adds/changes, space planning)Implement and monitor service level agreements, track performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring sites remain safe, clean, and professionally maintainedLead health, safety, and environmental programs ensuring full regulatory compliance, conduct safety audits, manage incident reporting, and oversee emergency preparedness and business continuity planningEnsure compliance with building codes, WHS legislation, industry regulations, and manage contractor inductions, safety briefings, and permit-to-work processesLead, develop, and performance-manage direct reports, fostering a service-oriented culture focused on customer satisfaction while coordinating cross-functional collaboration and resource allocationOversee building systems operations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety) through appropriate maintenance oversight and coordinate 24/7 emergency response capabilityIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives leveraging data analytics, recent technologies, and best practices to enhance service delivery, reduce costs,
and improve sustainability performanceMaintain accurate documentation and recordkeeping systems, oversee office services and supplies, coordinate occupant onboarding, and manage facilities communications and announcementsWhat we are looking for:5+ years progressive experience in facilities management, property management, corporate services, or related operational leadership rolesDemonstrated success managing operating budgets and delivering financial performanceProven track record leading vendor relationships and holding service providers accountableStrong understanding of facilities operations including maintenance, cleaning, security, and workplace servicesExperience managing health, safety, and compliance requirements in commercial environmentsKnowledge of Australian WHS legislation and workplace regulatory requirementsHonest, trustworthy, open to new ideas, challenges status quoShaping the future of real estate for a better world At JLL, we see a Brighter Way forward for our clients, our people, our planet, and our communities.
