We are seeking a Cadet Drafter to join our growing Transport team.
This is an exciting entry level prospect where you will gain hands on experience across Rail, Roads, and Civil infrastructure projects while learning from experienced engineers and designers.About the RoleAs a Cadet Drafter, you will work under direct supervision to support the development of drawings and basic 3D models using industry-standard CAD software.
You will contribute to real projects while building a strong foundation in engineering drafting standards, workflows, and systems.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce basic drawings and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Tekla)Set up drawing files in accordance with company standards and proceduresExtract and apply information from engineering specifications, standards, and supplier documentationMaintain electronic filing and document control for your workSupport engineers and senior designers with technical drafting tasksCollaborate within multidisciplinary project teams to understand engineering workflowsEnsure work is completed in line with quality, safety, and environmental standardsAbout YouMust be an Australian CitizenCertificate IV or Diploma in Building Design, Engineering Design & Drafting, or similar (or currently studying)Introductory experience with at least one CAD software package (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit,
