Position SummaryThe Transportation Coordinator/Driver loads, transports, and unloads patients for medical appointments and activity outings in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.Education, Experience, and Licensure RequirementsHigh school graduate or equivalentValid driver's license or valid commercial driver's license in current State, as applicable, with a satisfactory driving record per Life Care standardsPrior experience in health care or geriatrics preferredSpecific Job RequirementsComplete pre inspections before use of vehicleMonitor regular maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.)Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actionKnowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facilityImplement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the departmentPerform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights,
