Position: Motor Mechanic

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $72,000 to $82,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Minto NSW 2566

Our client is seeking a full time Motor Mechanic to maintain and repair its vehicle fleet located in Minto, New South Wales.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
- Dismantle, inspect, repair and replace engines, transmissions, steering systems and other vehicle components.
- Perform scheduled servicing, including oil changes, lubrication and engine tune-ups.
- Reassemble, test and adjust repaired engines and mechanical components.
- Inspect vehicles and identify repairs required to maintain safety and roadworthiness.
- Respond to vehicle breakdowns and carry out repairs as required.




- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- Minimum five (5) years' experience as a Motor Mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to use computerised diagnostic equipment and technical service manuals.
- Strong fault-finding, problem-solving and mechanical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining vehicles to a high standard.
