Their state-of-the-art rehabilitation and hydrotherapy facility in Thornton, NSW, supports clients from across Australia, with accessible accommodation located nearby to support visiting individuals and families.
The centre features advanced rehabilitation infrastructure including:
Two fully equipped neurorehabilitation gymnasiums
A fully accessible aquatic therapy pool
Multiple large therapy spaces and private consultation rooms
Specialist clinics including Upper Limb Service, Neuromuscular Orthotics, Amputee Clinic, and Monthly Tone & Function Clinic
In addition, their newly launched Paediatric Service supports children aged 0-18 years with complex rehabilitation needs, offering Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, and Physiotherapy in a purpose-built environment adjacent to the main facility.
Services are delivered across the clinic, community settings (Hunter region), and via telehealth for rural and remote areas across NSW on a case-by-case basis.
About the role:
Our client is seeking intermediate and/or senior Speech Pathologists to join their expanding team. You will work within a specialist neurological caseload, supporting either paediatric or adult clients with complex disability and rehabilitation needs.
This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you will contribute to meaningful functional outcomes for clients through collaborative, multidisciplinary care.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing high-quality speech pathology assessment and intervention for neurological and disability-related conditions
Managing a caseload involving paediatric and/or adult clients
Supporting clients with AAC systems and dysphagia management (essential)
Working closely within a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists
Delivering services across clinic, community, and telehealth settings where appropriate
Contributing to evidence-based, client-centred rehabilitation programs
