MH5 Pty Ltd, a proud Franchisee of Hertz Australia, is seeking a Detailing Team Leader (Leading Hand) to join our Sunshine Coast team, servicing our Sunshine Coast Region.

This is a hands-on vehicle detailing role. You will spend your day working alongside the team cleaning, preparing and moving vehicles, while also helping coordinate the workflow of the detailing crew and ensuring vehicles are ready to rent to Hertz standards.

About the Role

As our Detailing Team Leader (Leading Hand), you will lead by example and assist with keeping the day-to-day detailing operation running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Washing, vacuuming and detailing vehicles to Hertz standards.

- Preparing vehicles so they are clean, fuelled or charged and ready for rental.

- Performing basic vehicle safety checks.

- Identifying and reporting vehicle damage in accordance with company procedures.

- Driving vehicles safely between branches, suppliers and other locations.

- Helping coordinate daily detailing priorities and allocating work across the team.

- Keeping the team informed of changing vehicle and operational requirements throughout the day.

- Supporting new team members with training and day-to-day guidance.

- Helping maintain consistent cleaning and presentation standards across the fleet.

- Monitoring detailing supplies and equipment and reporting any issues as required.

- Maintaining a clean,



safe and organised work setting.

- Working closely with the Area Manager, Duty Managers and Customer Service team to ensure vehicles are available when required.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Is willing to be hands-on and work alongside the team every day.

- Has a positive, can-do attitude and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

- Takes pride in producing clean and well-presented vehicles.

- Is reliable, organised and has excellent attention to detail.

- Can help organise and motivate a team while still getting stuck into the work themselves.

- Communicates well and works effectively with others.

- Can prioritise work and adapt when operational requirements change.

- Demonstrates initiative and a practical approach to problem solving.

- Holds a current Australian Driver Licence.

- Is flexible and available to work weekends across our Sunshine Coast region as required.

Previous vehicle detailing experience is highly regarded, as is experience providing day-to-day guidance or support to a small team.
