About the role

We have opportunities available within our Anaesthetic Department, with permanent, part time and casual positions on offer. At Calvary North Adelaide, our facilities include 7 theatres and 3 procedural rooms, providing exposure to a diverse range of surgical and procedural specialties. You’ll be joining a supportive, collaborative and professional team committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a positive and welcoming environment. Your main duties will include:

- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate peri-operative nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team, so as to achieve goals and positive health outcomes.
- Take an active role in the coordination of nursing and health care ensuring they practice independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions, and where applicable, delegation of care.
- Responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment.

About you

- AHPRA Registration
- Recent demonstrated experience in a perioperative role desirable.
- Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity




- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
