About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join our cleaning supplies business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing customers, and promoting a range of commercial cleaning chemicals, consumables, equipment and janitorial products to business customers. This is a B2B sales role, primarily dealing with commercial cleaning companies, facilities management companies, offices, schools, aged-care facilities, hotels, restaurants, warehouses and other organisations requiring cleaning supplies.

Key responsibilities

- Identify and develop new B2B sales opportunities.

- Make regular sales calls and visits to existing and prospective customers.

- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.

- Promote and sell commercial cleaning products and supplies.

- Understand customers' cleaning requirements and recommend suitable products.

- Prepare quotations, follow up on leads and convert opportunities into sales.

- Meet agreed monthly and annual sales targets.

- Maintain accurate customer and sales records.

- Follow up with customers regarding orders, deliveries and product requirements.





- Introduce new products and identify opportunities to increase customer spend.

About you

- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the cleaning supplies, janitorial or commercial cleaning industry.

- Valuable knowledge of commercial cleaning chemicals, consumables and equipment.

- Existing experience dealing with commercial customers.

- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and maintain existing accounts.

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.

- Strong organisational and time-management skills.

- Current Australian driver's licence.

- Professional presentation and a positive, results-driven attitude.
