Re-advertised role - one final position to be filled on this crew.

We currently have an opportunity available for a capable and experienced road works labourer for work on a concreting project based at Gundagai. This project is focussed on concrete slab replacement work.

Applicants must hold proof of completing SILICA AWARENESS training, or be willing to obtain this prior to commencement of work.

Prior experience in concrete work will be highly desirable but not essential.

This role will involve working full time hours of work (8.5 hours/day - 76 hour/9 day fortnight) for a period of approximately 6 weeks, commencing mid September through until late October. (potential for further work for good quality candidates)

An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered, including overtime penalty rates for additional hours of work.

Applicants will need to be fit for manual labouring duties, and have experience using various hand and power tools.

Successful applicants will need;

- current WHS White Card





- Silica Awareness Training

- unrestricted Australian driver licence (no interlock, passenger restrictions etc)

- traffic control tickets - highly desirable

- Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain (online link able to be provided for successful applicant to be completed as part of on-boarding process)

- positive all round fitness for manual work tasks

- previous experience with various aspects of concreting work would be an advantage

Applicants will need to be fit for physically demanding work, and be a genuine team player.
