About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Transport Allocator to join our client in their busy logistics and transport team based in Minchinbury. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily transport operations, allocating drivers and vehicles, and ensuring customer deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and allocate daily transport runs across metropolitan and regional deliveries.
- Coordinate drivers, vehicles, and routes to maximise efficiency and utilisation.
- Monitor delivery schedules and proactively manage delays or operational issues.
- Maintain regular communication with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), NHVR regulations, and company policies.
- Manage and update transport management systems and delivery documentation.
- Investigate and resolve customer service issues relating to deliveries and collections.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within transport operations.
- Assist with driver scheduling, fleet utilisation, and operational reporting.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Previous experience as a Transport Allocator, Transport Coordinator, Fleet Coordinator, or similar logistics role.
- Strong knowledge of transport operations, route planning, and scheduling.
- Understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements and transport legislation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing competing priorities.
