Downlands College is seeking applications from qualified teachers registered with the Queensland College of Teachers for a full-time, permanent position as a secondary English teacher, commencing with the start of the 2027 academic year.

Requirements

- Qualifications to teach Secondary English

- Capacity to teach Senior Literature may be advantageous

- Capacity to teach Religious Education and/or a second teaching area may be advantageous

- Confidence in extending and enriching student learning

- Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the College is essential

- Knowledge and understanding of the AITSL Professional Standards and their relevance to effective teaching and learning

Salary

$86,600 – 124,724 (FTE) plus super
