About the Role
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will provide administrative and operational support across the full recruitment lifecycle, you will work closely with hiring managers, candidates, external recruitment partners, and the People & Culture team to ensure a seamless recruitment and onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Coordination
- Create and publish job advertisements across approved platforms.
- Manage candidate applications through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Screen applications against role requirements.
- Coordinate interviews and candidate communications.
- Support reference checking and pre-employment screening.
- Prepare offer documentation and employment contracts.
- Maintain recruitment records and documentation.
Talent Sourcing
- Build and maintain talent pools.
- Assist with candidate engagement activities and sourcing initiatives.
- Support workforce planning and recruitment campaigns.
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Coordinate onboarding documentation and pre-employment requirements.
- Schedule induction activities.
- Liaise with managers, payroll, and IT teams to ensure a smooth commencement process.
- Conduct new starter check-ins and collect onboarding feedback.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate recruitment data.
- Produce recruitment reports and dashboards.
- Monitor recruitment metrics including time-to-hire, source effectiveness, candidate pipelines, and candidate experience feedback.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Early Careers Programs
- Assist with the coordination of graduate, cadet, internship, and work experience programs.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, reporting, and program administration activities.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- No prior recruitment or talent acquisition experience required.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with confidence managing competing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong time management and prioritisation abilities.
- A customer-focused approach with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Current working rights in Australia; working holiday visa holders are welcome to apply.
- The ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Qualifications Required
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Desirable
- Degree qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
