About the role

You will be responsible for estimating a range of residential and commercial construction projects from initial plans through to handover to our construction team.

Key responsibilities

- Reviewing architectural, structural and engineering plans.

- Preparing detailed estimates, take-offs and scopes of works.

- Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier pricing.

- Identifying project risks, omissions and opportunities.

- Preparing tender submissions and project budgets.

- Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.

- Assisting with procurement and pre-construction planning.

- Working closely with our Directors, Design and Construction teams.

- Helping improve estimating systems and processes.

- Help manage the process until it reaches the construction hand over.

About you

- 5+ years estimating experience in the Australian construction industry.

- Solid experience in residential construction, renovations and extensions.

- Commercial fit-out experience highly regarded.





- Strong understanding of construction methodology and trade pricing.

- Ability to accurately read and interpret plans and specifications.

- Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness.

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
