About the Role
This is a fully remote role for an Enrolled Nurse who enjoys variety and wearing more than one hat. Part of your time will be on the clinical front line, triaging clients to the right level of support and part of it will be keeping our operations running smoothly.
We're a small, fast-moving startup with a supportive and self-motivated team. That makes it a great fit for someone who likes to take initiative, enjoys figuring things out and trusts their own clinical judgement, while knowing the team is right there to support you.
You'll be supported by our Head of Clinical, who provides regular clinical supervision and is on hand for complex cases.
What You'll Do
- Run triage sessions via video, phone and secure messaging to understand client needs and recommend the right level of care
- Follow escalation pathways for higher-risk or distressed clients
- Be a key point of contact for high-risk clients and any reported clinical issues or incidents
- Support our psychologists and wider clinical team day to day
- Manage incoming calls and support requests
- Manage client rescheduling and booking coordination
- Process and manage Medicare claims
- Spot problems early and help keep the practice running smoothly
- Record accurate notes and recommendations in our platform
What We're Looking For
- Current AHPRA registration as a Nurse (Enrolled)
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude
- Ability to provide minimum 30 hours availability per week, with some flexibility to help cover others when needed
- Comfortable working in a small, remote team
- Robust written and verbal communication
- Experience supporting people with mental health concerns
- Confident with everyday digital and collaboration tools (we run on Slack, Google Meet and similar)
- Reliable internet and a private, quiet workspace
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience in triage, stepped care or primary mental health settings
- Experience with Medicare
- An interest in digital health
Why Join Us?
- Work from home with a better work-life balance and no commuting
- Join a supportive team
- Make an impact as part of a mission-driven company widening access to mental health support across Australia
- Real support with clinical supervision and backing from our Head of Clinical
- Flexible hours with additional rates for evenings and weekends
- Ownership and the chance to genuinely shape a growing service
