About the role

TEC Services has an exciting opening for an experienced HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) Technician working in the Port Hedland region of the Pilbara WA. In this role you will be responsible for processing and completing work orders, installing new HVAC systems, troubleshooting mechanical failures, and performing equipment maintenance. You may also be required to advise on equipment upgrades and alternate systems. This role is offered as local or FIFO for the right candidate with allowances.

Key responsibilities

- Process and complete work orders

- Install new HVAC systems

- Troubleshoot mechanical failures

- Perform equipment maintenance

- Advise on equipment upgrades and alternate systems

- Inspect products and/or materials for conformity with established operational standards

- Conduct general repairs and maintenance where necessary or instructed

- Exercise high precision trade skills using various materials and/or specialised techniques in installation, repair, maintenance, testing, modifying, fault finding,



design or commissioning of HVAC systems

- Observe and test newly installed systems

About you

- Displays an in-depth knowledge of the HVAC industry

- Ability to examine, evaluate and develop solutions

- Understands and implements quality control techniques and is responsible for the quality of their work and is able to identify faults in the work of others at this or lower levels

- Provides guidance and assistance as part of a work team

- Thorough understanding of codes and regulations

- Thorough understanding of work scope and ability to plan work to achieve desired outcomes

- Identifies and initiates relevant action to obtain materials, tools and machinery requirements for a particular job

- Selects materials and operates machinery and/or equipment to work in accordance with trade standards

- Demonstrates an overriding commitment to health, safety, setting responsibility and sustainable development at all times
