GM3 is inviting expressions of interest from experienced mining professionals for potential roles at Tahmoor Mine following the proposed recommencement of operations.

We are excited about the opportunity to support the next chapter of Tahmoor Mine and are looking for experienced people who would like to help build a safe, productive and sustainable operation.

Successful candidates for these roles will be employed by GM3 and are expected to be based at Tahmoor Mine following completion of the proposed acquisition.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the CHPP Manager, the Production Coordinator – Coal Preparation Plant will coordinate daily production activities across the Tahmoor Coal Preparation Plant, ensuring work is delivered safely, effectively and in line with operational priorities.

Working closely with operations, maintenance, planning and technical teams, you will help align people, resources and plant priorities to support reliable production outcomes and continuous improvement.

This role is based at Tahmoor Mine, located in the Southern Highlands of NSW, approximately 80 kilometres south-west of Sydney and within easy commuting distance of Wollongong, the Macarthur region and surrounding communities.

- Coordinate daily CHPP production activities, people and resources.

- Support safe, compliant and efficient plant operations.

- Monitor production performance and respond to operational issues.

- Work with maintenance and planning teams to align priorities and plant availability.

- Support operating discipline, standards, procedures and critical controls.

- Contribute to production reporting, continuous improvement and operational readiness.

- Coach and support team members to build capability and accountability.

ABOUT YOU

You are a safety-focused production or operations professional with experience in coal preparation, mineral processing, fixed plant operations, mining or heavy industry. You are confident coordinating teams and priorities in a fast-paced operational environment and working with stakeholders to deliver reliable outcomes.

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

- Tertiary qualification in Science Engineering.

- Experience in CHPP, processing, fixed plant, mining or heavy industry operations.

- Demonstrated deep knowledge and experience In Process Engineering (Chemical, water, gas, materials)

- Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.

- Demonstrated commitment to safety, risk management and operational discipline.

- Ability to lead, coach and support employees and contractors.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience working with maintenance, planning and technical teams.
