About Pacific Seeds
Pacific Seeds breeds, produces and markets summer and winter crop seeds and has partnered with Australian farmers for more than 60 years. Our focus on research, innovation and new technologies supports improved grower profitability.
About the role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Territory Manager will lead sales activities and territory strategies to grow sales and market share while maintaining a strong company presence in the market. The role is full-time and offers flexibility across Central Queensland, the Coalfields and the Callide–Dawson region.
The chance
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will take ownership of the territory’s sales performance, market presence and customer relationships. You will translate national sales and marketing priorities into practical territory plans, identify opportunities for growth and represent Pacific Seeds at field days, campaigns and industry events.
Much of the role is about being present in the market. You will listen to growers and trading partners, provide technical product advice, resolve concerns professionally and build relationships that create value for both the customer and Pacific Seeds. Behind the scenes, you will keep Salesforce records accurate, prepare forecasts,
monitor market-share information and work closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Marketing and Technical Development to ensure customers receive the right support and product.
You will also manage territory expenses, stock allocations and consignment stock with strong commercial discipline, helping maximise sales while minimising avoidable year-end returns.
What you will bring
You are a commercially minded relationship builder with proven sales and customer-service experience. You communicate clearly, negotiate confidently and remain organised when priorities compete. You are comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM platforms such as Salesforce, and you bring either a degree in agriculture or business or relevant experience in a similar role.
- A current C-class driver’s licence
- A genuine commitment to workplace health, safety and Pacific Seeds’ Zero Harm approach
