“Where curiosity grows into confidence”
Keep a brand-new centre clean, safe and welcoming. Join our foundation team as Centre Caretaker (Cleaner) at Bask Ellen Grove. You don't need a background in early childhood. Bring pride in a job done well and an eye for a spotless, safe space, and there's room to grow from there.
ABOUT BASK
Bask Early Learning is family-owned and operated, with centres in Logan, Ipswich and Toowoomba. We exist to raise the standard of early childhood education and care in Queensland. Our BASKeteers are the people who make that real, every day. That includes the people who keep our centres clean, safe and welcoming, so learning can happen.
THE ROLE
- Position: Centre Caretaker (Cleaner)
- Location: Bask Ellen Grove
- Type: Permanent Part Time (approx. 25 to 30 hours per week, with room to grow)
- Reports to: Centre Manager
You keep every area of the centre clean, hygienic and welcoming, working to a regular cleaning schedule and following our hygiene and infection control procedures. It's a quiet role with a big effect. When the space is safe, clean and ready, our educators and children can get on with the good stuff.
Shifts may fall either in the morning (7am to 12:30pm) or the afternoon (12pm to 5:30pm), depending on the needs of the service and your preference.
And you're foundation team. You help set the standard for how a brand-current centre looks and runs.
THE CENTRE
Bask Ellen Grove is a 120-place centre, architecturally designed, with 7 classrooms for children from 6 weeks to 6 years. The talented team at WEARTHY designed our lush outdoor playscape, while inside, the Family Lounge has fresh bakery items, a breakfast bar,
and complimentary tea and coffee for educators and families. It's a space worth keeping beautiful, and that's your patch.
