About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Smoke Alarms Australia team as a Business Development Manager for our Perth region. A full-time, work from home role, you will be responsible for managing both existing relationships & driving new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base across the region.

Key responsibilities

- Meeting existing clients and building strong continuing relationships

- Proactively identifying, prospecting and converting new business leads to drive revenue growth

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the local market

- Providing expert advice and solutions to clients to address their compliance needs

- Preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals

- Collaborating with the wider sales and operations teams to ensure high customer satisfaction

- Analysing market trends and competitor activity to identify current business opportunities

- Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets

About you





- Proven track record in a business development or new sales role, ideally within the real estate property management, fire safety, insurance or compliance industry

- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers

- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand client needs and tailor solutions

- Highly motivated, target-driven and resilient personality with a passion for sales

- Familiarity with the greater Perth market and established networks in the regions

- Professional, friendly and engaging personality
