About the opportunity
We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Theatre technician(s) to join our established team at Werribee Mercy Hospital - Operating Theatre. Located in the Catherine McAuley building, the 6-suite complex is a modern suite with natural light; supporting the growing needs of the Wyndham Community

- The theatre technician will practice within the core values of Mercy Health.
- The applicant will work independently, with a higher degree of autonomy and accountability
- They will assist with the maintenance of the working environment and associated equipment by ensuring standard precautions are followed whilst practicing within WH&S; and Infection Control guidelines and standards.
- Duties may include; cleaning,



restocking, patient positioning and equipment maintenance.

- Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
- A compassionate, versatile and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- You must have a Certificate IV in Health - Operating Theatre Technician Practice or equivalent.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
