About the role

This is an opportunity to do more than prepare budgets and reports. These roles are for finance professionals who want to work closely with business areas, understand the pressures they face and help them make better decisions with the funding available.

The Management Accounting team is changing how it works. We are strengthening budgeting discipline, making financial information easier to use and exploring practical ways that tools such as artificial intelligence can improve the support we provide to business.

You will help shape this change by working with managers to improve budget planning, explain financial impacts clearly and identify where processes can be made simpler, more consistent and more helpful.

Working on site with business areas may be required to establish and embed the business partner role, build trust and provide advice that is timely and relevant.

If you have strong analytical skills,



sound judgement and the ability to explain financial information in plain language, this is a chance to make a practical difference in how Management Accounting supports the Department.
