About You
You are an experienced front end construction lawyer with a minimum of 6 years' experience, bringing a robust track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations.
Your Experience & Expertise:
Demonstrated experience advising on front-end construction, procurement and major project contracts within the energy, resources, infrastructure or construction sectorsStrong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial, procurement, engineering, construction and services agreementsProven ability to support contracting and procurement functions on a high volume of commercial transactions across multiple business units and project streamsExperience advising on procurement strategies, tender processes, contract risk allocation and contractor engagement modelsStrong contract drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance legal risk, commercial objectives and operational requirementsExperience advising on post-award contract management issues, including contract interpretation, variations, claims management and dispute avoidance strategiesAbility to provide strategic legal advice on contractual disputes, settlement negotiations and commercial resolution pathwaysExperience supporting major capital projects, including LNG, offshore and onshore construction, drilling, exploration, decommissioning and energy transition projectsExperience working collaboratively with procurement specialists, contract managers, project teams and senior business stakeholders
