We are currently seeking a skilledMechanical Supervisor to join our team in Traralgon, VIC (local base DIDO). In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee the maintenance and performance of critical mechanical systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and productive operations. Reports to Mechanical Superintendent / Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical technicians and contractors
- Supervise mechanical maintenance of pumps, dredgers, stackers, conveyor systems, and auxiliary systems
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and procurement teams
- Support asset reliability and plant performance improvements
- Contribute to long-term site transition and decommissioning planning

What We're Looking For





- Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Fitter.
- Proven experience in heavy industrial, mining, trade or power generation environments
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Sound knowledge of OHS regulations and safe work practices
- Proficiency with maintenance systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- SAP experience
