NDIS Office Administrator / Client Support
Multicultural Families Organisation – Southport QLD
You will work closely with our Support Coordinators, support workers and the NDIS team in a varied, hands‑on role combining NDIS administration, participant support, rostering and basic support coordination assistance. You will be an important point of contact for our participants, families, support workers and other service providers and help keep the day‑to‑day operations of our NDIS service running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Responding to enquiries from potential participants, families, plan managers and Support Coordinators
- Assisting with new participant intake and gathering relevant information
- Preparing and maintaining NDIS service agreements and schedules of supports
- Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date participant records
- Rostering support workers and coordinating shift changes and cancellations
- Matching support workers with participants based on skills, availability, language and participant preferences
- Communicating regularly with participants, families, support workers and other service providers
- Assisting Support Coordinators with straightforward referrals, service bookings, provider follow‑ups, quotes and reports
- Monitoring support worker documentation including NDIS Worker Screening, Blue Cards, First Aid, licences and other required documentation
- Assisting with support worker induction and administration
About you
- Previous administration experience in disability, community services, aged care or health
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence speaking with participants, families and service providers
- The ability to manage competing priorities and frequent interruptions
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn client management and rostering systems
- An understanding of the NDIS or the ability to learn quickly
- An understanding of privacy and confidentiality
- The ability to work independently while also being part of a busy team
- A respectful and culturally sensitive approach when working with people from diverse backgrounds

- Current driver's licence
