About the Role

The Yanco BESS is a major 250MW / 1,000MWh battery energy storage project in regional Current South Wales. As the Balance of Plant contractor, ACLE is helping deliver critical infrastructure that will enhance grid reliability and support the integration of renewable energy into the national electricity network.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and maintain project QA/QC systems, processes, and standards
- Manage supplier and subcontractor quality compliance
- Develop quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality control procedures
- Lead and support QA/QC personnel to achieve strong quality outcomes
- Coordinate inspections, testing, audits, and non-conformance management
- Ensure quality documentation and records are accurate, compliant, and up to date
- Provide quality training and guidance to project teams
- Communicate quality performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the project

About You





- Proven experience in a Quality Manager or senior QA/QC leadership role within EPC, or renewable energy projects
- Solar, BESS, and substation project experience highly regarded, with substation experience essential
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, auditing, inspections, and compliance requirements
- Experience managing quality outcomes on large-scale construction projects, with a solid understanding of civil, mechanical, and electrical works
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, engage stakeholders, and build solid relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Construction White Card and current driver's licence required
