Here at Hunter Laser Vision we are a busy Ophthalmic and Laser refractive clinic. Newcastle and the Hunter's answer to tossing away those glasses. We offer state of the art refractive surgery changing the lives of everyday people. Our practice is also well known for general Ophthalmology and quality cataract surgery for over 30 years.

We are a team of 3 surgeons and 15 staff all working together to achieve one main goal.

Qualifications & experience

Medical receptionist experience preferred

Experience working with VIP software advantageous

Available three to four days per week. 7:45am-5pm for staggered shifts

Tasks & responsibilities

Managing all incoming calls for bookings and enquiries





Assisting patients as they arrive for appointments and completing paperwork

Collecting payment for consultations and surgery bookings

Maintaining a skilled and clean workplace at front of house

Working as a team player with fellow receptionists to ensure patients experience a pleasant and professional journey through the practice.

Managing all incoming emails from referring specialists, optometrists and GP's.

Quoting and counselling patients on all surgery bookings
