VISUAL MERCHANDISING & STOCK MANAGER – STRAND ARCADE

Are you a retail leader who can switch seamlessly between creative and commercial? Do you have an eye for detail, a passion for presentation and the organisational skills to keep stock flowing?

STRAND is looking for a Visual Merchandising & Stock Manager to join our Strand Arcade team — someone who can bring our brand to life on the shop floor while keeping the engine room running smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a hands‑on role where great VM meets great stock management. You’ll play a key role in creating an inspiring customer experience, maintaining high visual standards and ensuring our product is exactly where it needs to be.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll take ownership of both visual presentation and stock operations, working closely with the Store Manager and wider team to make sure the store looks its best, operates efficiently and is ready to deliver every day.

From creating impactful product displays and executing VM directives, to managing deliveries, stocktakes and the stockroom — you’ll be across it all.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

VISUAL MERCHANDISING

- Own the day-to-day visual presentation of the store, ensuring it is on‑brand, inspiring and commercially focused.
- Execute VM guidelines, campaigns, product launches and seasonal changes.
- Create strong product stories and displays that drive customer engagement and sales.
- Maintain high standards across fixtures, displays, signage and product presentation.
- Partner with the Store Manager to identify opportunities to improve the customer journey and commercial performance.

STOCK MANAGEMENT





- Lead and own all stockroom operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and safety.
- Manage deliveries, stock transfers, replenishment and stocktakes with precision.
- Ensure the shop floor is consistently full, organised and ready to trade.
- Optimise stockroom layouts, storage and processes to maximise productivity.
- Monitor stock movement and shrink, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Coach team members on stock handling, systems and best practice.

TEAM & STORE LEADERSHIP

- Be a hands‑on leader who sets the standard across both VM and stock.
- Work closely with the Store Manager and team to balance commercial priorities, presentation and operational efficiency.
- Bring energy, accountability and a solutions‑focused mindset to the team.

You’ll bring:

- Experience in Visual Merchandising, Stock Management or Retail Operations.
- A strong eye for detail and a genuine passion for visual presentation.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
- A hands‑on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.




- Robust communication skills and the confidence to coach and influence a team.
- A commercial mindset with an understanding of how VM, stock and customer experience drive sales.
- The ability to problem‑solve, prioritise and stay calm when things get busy.
- A love of retail, product and creating an environment customers want to explore.
