About the role

The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse who is accountable for practice at an advanced level, working collaboratively within the unit and with other members of the health care team including consumers/carers, other health professionals,



general practitioners and other agencies (including non-Government agencies). This role provides the delivery of clinical care and support specific to the Diabetes Service within an outpatient and inpatient setting.

Mandatory Requirements:

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
