About the Opportunity

We have a part‑time role (40 hours per fortnight) for a skilled and bachelor‑qualified teacher to join our three‑year‑old program at our Horsham Uniting Kindergarten. You will oversee service operations to maintain compliance and quality and provide leadership to a passionate and professional team to ensure the provision of quality early childhood programs. You will also ensure we provide an environment that reflects a safe, inclusive, responsive and supportive program where the interests and needs of children are the foundation for creating the educational programmes.

Responsibilities

- Provide a safe, inclusive, responsive and supportive educational program.
- Work as part‑time (40 hours per fortnight) in a 3‑year‑old kindergarten in Horsham.
- Offer competitive sector remuneration plus salary‑packaging options to increase take‑home pay.

Qualifications

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Teaching (or equivalent as approved by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority – ACECQA) – essential.
- First aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Regulations, including first aid, anaphylaxis management and emergency asthma management.
- Extensive experience in a kindergarten and/or other early childhood service providing high‑quality care and education services for children.




- Extensive experience in a leadership role in a kindergarten and/or early childhood setting.
- A thorough knowledge and understanding of early childhood learning and development.
