Gold Coast Primary Health Network (GCPHN) is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to building one world class health system for the Gold Coast. ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Project Officer - NINCo to support the coordination and delivery of the National Improvement Network Team-oriented (NINCo) program.
Reporting to the Program Manager (Primary Health Care), you will provide project, administrative and governance support across a range of activities including stakeholder engagement, communications, quality improvement initiatives, reporting and evaluation.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 31 December 2026, with the possibility of extension.
KEY RESPONSBILITIES
- Coordinate and support the implementation of NINCo project activities, workplans, timelines and deliverables.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, registers, records, dashboards and reporting information.
- Provide governance and secretariat support, including coordinating meetings, preparing papers, taking minutes and following up actions.
- Support stakeholder engagement and communications with PHNs, consultants, partners and internal teams.
- Assist with learning, capability development and quality improvement activities, including resources, training support and LMS reporting.
- Contribute to evaluation, performance monitoring and reporting by collecting data, tracking outcomes and supporting continuous improvement.
SELECTION CRITERIA – ESSENTIAL
- Demonstrated experience in project coordination, administration, or program support roles.
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating meetings,
preparing agendas and papers, taking minutes, and monitoring action items.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain project records, registers, databases, and reporting systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.
- Current driver licence, own reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
SELECTION CRITERIA – HIGHLY DESIRABLE
- Experience working in primary health care, health services, government, not-for-profit or commissioning environments.
- Experience supporting governance committees, projects, training programs, or evaluation activities.
- Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and primary care reform initiatives.
- Relevant qualifications in project management, business administration, health, public health or related discipline
WE OFFER
- Remuneration package: $92,586 to $102,005 plus superannuation
- Salary packaging benefits (up to $15,900 p.a. + $2,650 p.a. for meals/entertainment)
