genU is looking for experienced Support Workers who can team up with our customers to help them unleash their full potential. You will be making a real impact by helping people with disabilities through accommodation and community engagement.

n

- Support person-centred plans that identify a customer's life goals and working to achieve them
n
- Support customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering and toileting and medication administration
n
- Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed
n
- Administration duties and mandatory reporting
n

n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships;
n
- Ability to follow Person Centred plans and assist people to achieve their goals and outcomes;
n
- An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities;
n
- Ability to manage complex or difficult situations as they arise with patience and maturity;
n




- A valid driver's licence and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with genU motor vehicle allowance rebate).
n
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or Higher [CHC33021,CHC33015,CHC43121,CHC43115]
n

(You'll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate - but don't worry, we'll help guide you through this.)
