The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Field Service Technician to join our growing irrigation services team. Working across a diverse range of agricultural operations, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and repair of irrigation systems.

This role is ideal for a mechanically minded technician who enjoys working outdoors, solving technical problems, and building strong relationships with customers. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring irrigation systems operate efficiently and reliably to support agricultural productivity.

- Install, assemble and commission a range of our irrigation solutions
- Conduct preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs on irrigation equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and control system issues.
- Perform servicing on pumps, motors, gearboxes, drive units and related irrigation infrastructure.
- Install and maintain irrigation control systems, telemetry and automation equipment.
- Complete site inspections and provide recommendations for system improvements.
- Respond to customer service calls and breakdowns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate service records,



work orders and inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements at all times.
- Assist with project installations and upgrades across a variety of agricultural sites.
- Liaise with customers to provide technical advice and support regarding irrigation system operation and maintenance.

You

- Experience in a field service, maintenance or technician role.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Experience working with agricultural machinery, irrigation equipment, pumping systems or similar infrastructure.
- Current driver's licence.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel and work in regional and remote locations as required.
- Safety-focused and committed to quality workmanship.
- Self-motivated and reliable.
- Customer-oriented with a professional attitude.
- Adaptable and willing to work in changing field environments.
- Organised with strong attention to detail.
