This is a hands‑on finance role working across a portfolio of not‑for‑profit and education organisations throughout Australia.

As part of Giuntabell's Partnered Accounting Services team, you'll support the day‑to‑day finance operations of multiple clients, with a strong focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support and cashbook processing.

Unlike a traditional finance role within a single organisation, you'll work across a variety of client environments, systems and processes alongside experienced finance professionals. It's an ideal prospect for an experienced bookkeeper, Accounts Officer or Finance Officer who enjoys variety, takes pride in getting the detail right and is comfortable managing competing priorities.

Key responsibilities

Processing and coding supplier invoices and credit notes

Maintaining supplier records and assisting with payment runs

Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies

Preparing and processing customer invoices and credit notes

Recording and allocating customer receipts

Maintaining customer records and assisting with debtor reconciliations and follow-up

Assisting with routine payroll processing and payroll administration

Processing cashbook and bank transactions and assisting with bank reconciliations

Maintaining accurate supporting documentation and financial records

Working across multiple client accounting systems and following client‑specific processes

Identifying discrepancies or unusual transactions and escalating them for review

About you

You'll bring practical, hands‑on bookkeeping and transactional finance experience and be someone who values accuracy, reliability and getting things done well.

You'll ideally have:

- A minimum of 3–4 years' hands‑on experience in bookkeeping, accounts or a similar transactional finance role





- Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, or an equivalent recognised qualification

- Practical experience across accounts payable and accounts receivable

- Experience assisting with or processing payroll

- Experience with cashbook processing and bank reconciliations

- Foundational working knowledge of Australian GST, PAYG withholding and superannuation requirements

- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

- Experience using accounting software

- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

- Clear and professional communication skills

Experience working across multiple entities or clients, particularly within an accounting practice, outsourced finance or bookkeeping environment, would be highly regarded. Experience with Sage Intacct or Xero would also be advantageous.
