We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee and take responsibility of the day-to-day management and operations of the maintenance department, including all associated properties of the Revesby Workers’ Club Group. The role will also see you take a lead role in projects that vary from small internal building works to major construction works.

About the role

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will manage a supportive and collaborative team and oversee all maintenance/building aspects of the club facilities, including the club car parks, presentation of all club facilities, buildings and related infrastructure, plumbing, mechanical and electrical operations, including plant, machinery, equipment and materials for all areas and venues.

This role suits someone with strong operational capabilities and a hands-on leadership style who can manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the maintenance function and requirements of all RWC properties
- Ensuring our buildings and facilities are safe, functional, compliant and in line with service regulation standards for our members, guests and staff
- Project managing ongoing and future projects across all venues
- Tender processing, cost control, and quotations
- Contract maintenance and management, co-ordinate and supervise trades, contractors, suppliers and service providers, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required compliance standards
- Manage building works, refurbishments, repairs and projects across the venue
- Ensure compliance with work health and safety requirements and standards
- Respond to operational issues, emergencies, defects, breakdowns and member or guest-impacting facility matters promptly
- Preparing project costs and reports
- Quality Control & Continuous Improvement
- Lead and support the operations of the maintenance and greenkeeper team,



ensuring a high-performing and service-focused team

Required Experience and Skills

- Strong leadership skills with experience managing staff, trades and external contractors
- Experience with building works, refurbishments or construction activity
- Strong work ethic & ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a facilities manager, building operations or related operational management role
- Experience working within a large club or hospitality venue is highly desirable
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to respond calmly and effectively to urgent operational matters
- Sound understanding of work health and safety requirements and risk management practices
- Flexible working hours and on-call work required
