Turner Talent is seeking experienced Trade Assistants for a well-established heavy industrial operation based in Mackay.
Consistent 10–12 hour days and the potential to transition into a permanent position, this is a great opportunity for someone looking for solid hours and longer-term stability.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting tradespeople with mechanical, maintenance and repair work
- Assembly and disassembly of equipment and components
- Using hand and power tools
- Preparing, moving and handling materials and equipment
- General workshop and industrial Trade Assistant duties
What we're looking for
- Previous Trade Assistant, Mechanical TA or similar industrial/workshop experience
- Mechanically minded and confident using hand and power tools
- Experience in mining, heavy industry, manufacturing or maintenance highly regarded
- Reliable,
safety focused and comfortable working 10–12 hour days
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
