Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently looking for a Grounds Maintenance Officer to join an established team at a large outdoor recreational venue that hosts a variety of activities for schools, community groups, and visitors.

If you enjoy working outdoors, interacting with people, and take pride in maintaining safe, clean, and well-presented facilities, this role is for you. You'll receive on-the-job training and development while enjoying a great work-life balance and the opportunity to make a positive impact in the community.

This is a short-term part time position with potential for ongoing work for the right candidate. The role will operate on a rotating roster of 3–4 days per week.

In this role, you will:

- Perform general and preventative maintenance across venue facilities, including accommodation, ablution blocks, indoor areas, and outdoor grounds.
- Carry out minor building, grounds, and maintenance repairs.
- Complete sports equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Undertake pool maintenance duties.
- Prepare facilities and accommodation for client use.
- Conduct daily inspections to ensure facilities are safe and ready for use, escalating issues where required.




- Schedule and assist with preventative maintenance works.
- Maintain equipment inventory and complete other general maintenance duties as required.

What we are looking for:

- Previous experience in a similar maintenance role within tourism, recreation, hospitality, or a related industry (desirable).
- Pool operations experience (desirable).
- Current Positive Blue Card (mandatory).
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (mandatory).
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
