Position Information

Doonside Technology High School is a co-educational Years 7–12 inclusive high school with a strong focus on explicit teaching strategies and comprehensive wellbeing structures.

In 2026, the school has 700 students. The student population is highly diverse: 18% identify as Aboriginal, and 29% come from a background where English is an additional language or dialect. The Support Unit provides for 74 students with mild, moderate and severe intellectual disabilities. The school proudly celebrates this diversity and ensures all students are actively included in every aspect of school life.

Wellbeing and student learning support remain central to the school's strategic directions. Programs such as the Berry Street Education Model, Life Education, RoSA@Work, the Learning Support Hub, and Wellbeing Hub have been recognised with Secretary and Minister's Awards, reflecting their positive impact on student engagement, wellbeing and retention.
