About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Medical Receptionist to manage reception and administration duties of our general practice clinic in Adelaide. This is a hands‐on role where you will be the central point of contact for our patients in Adelaide and around Australia.

n

What You'll Be Doing

n

- Ensuring a great experience for our patients when they first arrive
n
- Booking appointments for patients and managing their queries
n
- Performing MBS/DVA billing once trained
n




- Assisting with our operations team to maintain accreditation
n

n

About You

n

You will bring a blend of reception experience and genuine like for working with people, especially the vulnerable.

n

Essential:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience as a Practice Receptionist in a general practice or primary care setting
n
- Some working knowledge of Medicare/DVA billing, MBS item numbers, and bulk billing processes
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build solid relationships with GPs, staff, patients, and external stakeholders
n
- High level of organisational ability and the capacity to juggle competing priorities without losing attention to detail

Desirable:

- Experience with practice management software
n
- Previous experience working in a multi-GP or mixed billing environment
