We are partnering with a leading Legal professional services organisation to recruit an experienced IT Support Specialist for their Sydney CBD office.
This is a hands-on support position working within a high-performing, professional environment, providing technical support across desktop, applications, hardware, meeting rooms and user administration.
Previous IT support experience within a law firm or legal environment is essential for this position.
The Role
You will provide responsive, high-quality technology support to users across the Sydney office, while collaborating with a broader global IT function.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 desktop and application support to end users
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues
- Support Microsoft 365, Windows, Active Directory and Exchange environments
- Provide support across legal-specific applications and document management systems
- Set up and configure laptops, desktops, mobile devices and other hardware
- Manage user accounts, permissions, onboarding and offboarding activities
- Support meeting room and audio-visual technology
- Diagnose technical issues and elevate where appropriate
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to ongoing improvements across the IT environment
- Deliver a high standard of customer service to users at all levels of the organisation
About You
- Previous IT support experience within a law firm or legal environment, essential
- Experience providing technical support
- Robust knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
- Experience with Active Directory and Exchange
- Exposure to legal technology and applications, such as document management, PDF, document comparison or email management platforms
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A polished, service-focused approach suited to supporting professionals in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to prioritise competing requests and confidently manage issues through to resolution
