Salesforce AI Engineer

$170,000 - $180,000 + super + bonus

CalibrX is Australia's leading Salesforce recruitment agency, and we are partnering with a growing organisation looking for a Salesforce AI Engineer to help shape and deliver its long-term AI strategy.

This is a priority role for someone with strong Salesforce and Agentforce experience, combined with a broader understanding of artificial intelligence. You will take existing AI prototypes through to production, design scalable Agentforce solutions and help lead the delivery of new AI capabilities across the business.

The right person will be confident working with Prompt Builder, designing intelligent agent solutions and guiding a technical team through implementation. You do not need to be tied to one AI vendor, but you must understand how different AI technologies can be applied to solve real business problems.

Responsibilities:

- You will design, build and implement AI solutions using Salesforce Agentforce
- Take an existing account-attention prototype and develop it into a scalable production solution
- Build AI agents supporting SMS, email and LinkedIn engagement
- Use Prompt Builder to create, test and optimise prompts and agent interactions
- Translate business requirements into practical AI and Salesforce solution designs
- Provide technical direction and help lead the development team over the longer term




- Work closely with key stakeholders to identify new AI use cases across the business
- Ensure AI solutions are secure, scalable and aligned with Salesforce best practices

Experience:

- Strong experience working across the Salesforce platform
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions using Agentforce
- Good knowledge of Prompt Builder, AI agents and generative AI concepts
- Broad, vendor-agnostic knowledge of artificial intelligence technologies
- Experience taking AI prototypes through to production
- Robust solution design and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Apex and Lightning Web Components experience would be beneficial but is not compulsory
- Experience leading developers or providing technical direction would be highly regarded
