About the Role:

At Opal Water Management, we are accredited by Sydney Water as a Water Servicing Coordinator, incorporating Building Plan Approvals, Service Protection Reports, Section 73, Design & Project Management. As a trusted agent for over 2 decades, we have transitioned with Sydney Water as they phased out the Quickcheck system & replaced this with “Tap-In”, which ensures we continue to provide premium end to end services for our building & developing clients.

Responsibilities:

- Good understanding & knowledge of Sydney Water sewer & water standards (accreditation advantageous) including but not limited to design, project management, sewer/water construction, building over/near assets
- Inspection of varying works (including QSE aspects) to ensure Sydney Water and local council compliance in Minor Works, Concrete Encasements, Pre connection, Water Services etc
- Involvement with our Design team, Service Protection Report & Infrastructure project management process
- Communication with clients and neighbouring residents to seek access and complete inspection works
- Ability to operate mechanical-assisted lifting equipment
- Ability to operate electronic location equipment




- Ability to read and understand Hydra and DBYD and building plans
- Ability to operate an android tablet to record inspection information
- Ability to work team setting and at times, independently.
- Experienced in operating CCTV for wastewater and stormwater

Candidate Requirements:

- Must have a current Driver’s license
- Demonstrate your ability to read and understand Hydra and DBYD and building plans
- Demonstrate your ability to locate services using electronic location equipment
- Demonstrate your ability to operate an android tablet
- Provide a driving record
- Must be willing to learn and adapt to current company systems
- Must be Reliable, Attentive, Adaptable, Punctual, Committed, Customer Orientated and prepared to contribute in a positive nature.
- Must have good written & verbal communication
- Must be well presented.
- Plumbing or Civil background is desirable.
