TRUCK TECH is looking for an experienced Field Service Heavy Vehicle Technician / Diesel Mechanic to join our Queensland team, working across Narangba and Park Ridge on afternoon shift.

This is a floating Field Service role for a mechanic who enjoys autonomy, variety and getting out on the road.

You'll support both locations, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs and breakdown support across trucks, trailers and heavy vehicles.

What you'll be doing

- Providing Field Service support across Narangba and Park Ridge

- Heavy vehicle servicing and preventative maintenance

- Diagnostics and complex fault finding

- Mechanical and electrical repairs

- Attending breakdowns and getting vehicles back on the road

- Working across trucks, trailers and heavy vehicles





- Completing jobs safely and efficiently

- Communicating job progress and maintaining accurate service records

Who we're looking for

Your current title might be Field Service Technician, Field Service Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Technician, Truck Mechanic, Mobile Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Technician.

What matters is that you know heavy vehicles and are confident working independently in the field.

You'll ideally have:

- Cert 3 in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology – Essential

- Experience working on trucks, trailers or heavy vehicles

- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

- Ability to work autonomously in a Field Service workplace

- Australian driver's licence

- Full Australian working rights

- Flexibility to work across Narangba and Park Ridge

- A solid attitude and pride in your workmanship
